S7 Airlines, member of the global airline alliance oneworld ®, announces the opening of regular flights from Moscow to Gorno-Altaisk. The flights are carried out with the May 29, 2012 at intervals twice a week. Flight from Moscow airport “Domodedovo” on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 22:35 and arrives in the Gorno-Altaisk – at 6:10 local time. The return flight departs from the Gorno-Altai on Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:10 and arrives in Moscow at 9:00. The flights are carried out on modern airliners Airbus A319/A320.
C June 14 to the current schedule is added to an additional frequency – departure from Moscow on Thursday, departing from the Gorno-Altai – on Fridays.
Airport Gorno-Altai was opened in autumn 2011 after an extensive renovation. Lengthening the runway allowed the airport to take the modern aircraft. In October, Airbus A320 S7 Airlines made a technical flight to Gorno-Altaisk and became the first airliner, which landed on the update airport strip.
Opening of the flight provided by the agreement on cooperation between S7 Airlines and the Ministry of Regional Development of the Republic of Altai. The agreement provides for joint work on development of air travel in the region.
