Sukhoi Superjet 100 also known as SSJ 100. The first flight of regional passenger aircraft ” Sukhoi Superjet-100 “was held May 19, 2008. She took full responsibility for the entire life cycle of the product: design and development, sales and marketing, certification, production and after-sales service.
The assembly is carried out in the city of Komsomolsk-na-Amur in the CF CJSC “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft” with the participation of JSC “KNAAPO.” According to official figures, the cost of development as of 2008 amounted to approximately 100 SSJ $ 1.4 billion. This amount does not include the cost of developing the engine.
We can not keep silent about another important aspect of the program of the SSJ-100. “Under her” a number of Russian companies for the first time in the past two decades, managed to get funds to upgrade the order of dilapidated machinery equipment. This was as direct budgetary infusions and borrowings. Thus, according to Director General of AHK “Sukhoi” Mikhail Pogosyan, only plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur (KNAAPO), where it will undergo final assembly production machines, has already invested 50 million USD. Deliveries to customers
First deliveries of production aircraft were scheduled for the end of 2008, but this term often tolerated. In December 2009 the Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Khristenko announced the general availability expected in mid-2010.
In early August 2009 the media reported that the first commercial flight is scheduled for the Sukhoi Superjet December 28, 2009 (Aeroflot, flight SU-897 Moscow – Chelyabinsk). On June 23 engines certificate was obtained EASA. NPO “Saturn” to the end of 2010 plans to deliver 13 engines and 33 SaM146 engine in 2011 with a possible increase of up to 48 engines. In July 2010 the governor of the Khabarovsk region Vyacheslav Shport said that before the end of 2010 the first three production of Sukhoi Superjet 100 will be the company ” Armavia “and” Aeroflot “.
In December 2006, were entered into firm contracts with the alliance AiRUnion (SSJ 100-95 15 aircraft with a range of base and option for 10 cars) and the airline “Dalavia” (SSJ 100-95 6 aircraft with increased range and the option for 4 cars) but due to the bankruptcy of these companies deal will not be realized. For a similar reason is questionable contract with FLC. May 11, 2009 a representative of CJSC “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft” Olga Kayukova reported that the first production aircraft will be delivered the Armenian airline Armavia.
June 15, 2009 the Hungarian airline Malev signed an agreement of intent to acquire 30 aircraft. The total cost of the proposed contract is worth one billion U.S. dollars.
October 4, 2010 JSC “Airline” UTair “announced that it has selected the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft to replace the Tu-134 .
The first production aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100
November 4, 2010 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, took to the skies the first production of Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft, tail number 95007 SN. It is designed to “Armavia”, ordered the two aircraft of this type.
